Bridge Over A Stadium Pitch Idea

How about a stadium, sports arena, concert arena has a bridge over the actual pitch?
For instance a soccer, American football, basketball, rugby, cricket, baseball, field hockey, ice hockey, tennis, shinty, boxing or gaelic sports pitch could have a bridge directly over the field of play.
For instance a stadium like Hampden, or your fave sports stadium could construct a safe enclosed bridge high up above the field of play. There could even be a skywalk where a section of the bridge has a glass floor, where spectators can walk or stand over the pitch and look directly down at the pitch. This could be used for ordinary fans, or VIP tickets.
Fans would love to party or have executive box luxury directly high above the field of play. The bridge would advisably be enclosed to help ensure fans cannot throw things onto the pitch, or be harmed by poor weather.
Such a Stadium bridge could also be utilised in concert gigs.
We already have stadiums with roofs or arches. So if it is possible to have roofs or arches over pitches, then surely we could have bridges over the stadium pitch.
The bridge would need to be high enough above the pitch to avoid interfeing with play. But still provide a good view of the spectacle.
