A poem about life and its uncertainties, in Redondilla form (described following poem)
I asked myself, what's it all for?
Do I have an ultimate goal?
Should I just quit and dig a hole,
or wait to see if there is more?

I've lived through peace, I've lived through war.
I've ravaged the depths of my soul.
I don't follow a sacred scroll,
and I don't know what lies in store.

I'm not a rich man, nor too poor.
My life's not that bad, on the whole.
But is my world a big fish bowl,
tipping and crashing to the floor?

Redondilla: 8 syllables per line. Any number of quatrains, with rhyme scheme a-b-b-a.
