What of the present
What of future? What of past?
If the present should never last
When it’s no gift but a curse
When past or future is a preferred verse
Of stories muddled yet polished by time
Coalesced in mind as some romanticized rhyme

Past has passed, Future far
We live in the present, Alive we are -
- Only in each moment, Only in each thought
To think is to live, Now or naught
We are for art that our hearts have brought
All art is us, Art is thought to feel
Only in the present is this real

That we experience all that is holy

Yet, my love for thy soul slips from me slowly
When I think of anything but now
Love exists here, in this thin plane of temporal existence
A spirit beating our heart and breath of thou
It is simple subsistence
A requirement to stay alive
So,
I’ll lay in this thin bay of ephemeral life
To find my mind and hope to see another’s
I will achieve thought and beautiful sight of her heart flutters
