Drift and Notitia are thrown into the future, where they meet friends, as well as enemies.
         Prologue- CODEN

I am walking when a boy lands on the sidewalk in front of me. More like the crosswalk. He looks dazed. I feel like I should help him. I step towards him, then I stop.
         Oh my goodness, he's-
I have to find Notitia and tell her about him.
He's here. The second Phaser is here.

One- Drift

         My head hurts.
It's not your typical headache. Nope.
Like a hammer tapping your head but magnified a thousand times.
         Ugh.
         I sit up.
I'm- on a crosswalk? But, instead of the usual thick white lines, it's two straight lines. I go to touch them, but I get shocked.
I recoil, holding my shocked hand to my chest.
         My hand feels warm.
There's a loud beep. As if my head doesn't hurt enough.
         Scowling, I look up.
There is a robotic thing shaped like an egg with a screen on the front. It's blue with a white screen.
"Hello," its automated voice says. "I'm trying to get past. Are you a robot or a blockade? Blockade as in, a fallen robot or an object in the way."
Its screen shifts to an option screen. An option for 'robot' pulses green. 'Blockade' flashes red.
I furrow my eyebrows. I don't even know what my name is. I click the green icon and struggle to my feet.
It seems like the right option, because the robot turns green and maneuvers around me.
         "Huh," I say out loud.
Another wave of robots approach me, and before they can inquire about my existence, I move out of the way, and onto the sidewalk.
I look into the window of a shop and see my reflection: a boy of about 15 stares back at me. His brownish-black hair is a mess. His eyes are green-blue.
If only I knew his name. I sigh.
I look up at the cloudy sky. The sun is barely peeking out from behind a huge gray cloud.
Then, I look around. Not another human is in sight. I don't understand how I have not noticed this before.
The streets are filled with robots.
         Not. Humans.
For some reason, I feel afraid... like, where are my parents?
         My friends?
Did I have parents or friends before? This is all so overwhelming. I hold my head.
Then I shiver. Because it's cold and getting dark.
I need to find a place to sleep, I realize.
I've been in this world for roughly 30 minutes, and I'm still lost. Who wouldn't be?
I walk down the sidewalk and walk aimlessly, until I find an alleyway on the outskirts of this futuristic city. There is a box. I climb in and give in to sleep.

          Two

A rough swaying wakes me up. I hear the rhythmic sound of footsteps. Roboticfootsteps.
I realize I'm still in the box. But it's taped shut.
In a panic, I peer out of the slit in the top. Oh great. The box is being held by a robot.
I go to pound on the top of the box then freeze. I don't exactly know what their intentions are.
