My first stab at fantasy, I kind of enjoyed this. Fairies, rainbows and butterflies.
Somewhere in the world today a life is new born glory
Somewhere through the lonely nights a fairy tells her story
I'll be there to listen, harness and guide
In the enchanted forest, there's no need to cry nor hide.

For in the enchanted forest where trees do talk aloud
Their leaves whisper promises to give to the proud
Dedication to the butterfly as she sings, dances and plays
Keep your dreams alive in words, they'll send you on your way.

A fairy once has said to me that life is full of pain
But if you dream of me she said, we'll dance among the rain
The fairy climbed the rainbow to see the land afar
She said that everybody here is fine, that's all we ever are.

In sprinkles of gold and light behold the fairy comes to me
She tells me things that I can learn to be what I want to be
The fairy landed on my shoulder, smiling straight at me
Whispered words of love and life, said "Look", the rainbow's free.

The fairy must be on her way but she sure did enlighten me
She has to climb the rainbow's peak to send her dreams to me
She flies away to return to the forest and prepare for more encounters
I never will forget her words, they are hers, yours and ours.
