The Lord shall grant us all our needs - a spiritual life of rapture - a poem. |
A sacrifice of spirit and secular anvils - The busy home of individual actions And bawdy sophistry. The gaudy triangulation Of medicated mischief And scrimping romance… The chest and forearms emboldened By rangy menaces; The shoulders of rank And measurable disdain - The populace shall disgorge The pile of rocks If disparagement persists. A message of incapacitated inculcation Does retract the ambition Of potent ethics And moral compasses… Ride the wave of Jesus To the providence of eternal love. Peace, grace, youthful innocence, And immense drives persist In union with ardent pursuits Of Almighty Knowing And Service to His Becoming That calm, great, and divine inclination… The gift of God’s majesty and mercy Shall enrapture and enliven The soul’s grateful solace, And develop the true strength and joy Of humanity to its grandest scope; A gala of past and present, All-encompassing pleasure And freedom from grief - A purpose of trusting obedience And eternal blessings From the forgiveness of the Almighty; The benevolent flock enjoined In His everlasting, heavenly, And beautiful light… |
