This Moment

We revel in a tropical beach sunrise
As flying fish leap into painted skies,
With water of purest blue,
Caressing, foaming, reflecting sun's debut.

Beneath beating sun we sip rum cupped
With a lime in the coconut,
Flavors mingling, bursting, inviting love's kiss,
As the sun slips down amid passionate bliss.

Like a wave on damp sand, dusk nears,
As we ease into an embrace, banishing all fears,
Bodies sway beneath a night sky full of stars,
While with kisses we declare this moment truly ours.
