Five years ago, a DNA test and Ancestry.com exploded my history into reality. I now know of my birth parents and eight half-siblings.
All four parents are gone, as are three half siblings. I've met one maternal half brother, but the other won't yet acknowledge the truth. Same goes for my paternal half-sister. Strong DNA match. Still won't accept the facts.
I have a history I once thought would forever be unknown. And I can live with that.
