A poem i wrote a while ago
A head; a planet.
Little asteroids flying by,
Tink...tink...tink.
Flares of rock and dust spire upwards reaching heights towering above even the grandest of Monuments.

As the millennia rushed by, they believed it to be fake.
None may believe in the horrible fate of the cosmos. One does not want to believe.
One musnt believe.

A star,
Once so bright now faded to a soft, pitiful burn.
A legend in the sky, beauty, peace,
Freedom; ideals never to be known again by
The creatures of such a celestial rock.

Where great walls of marble and sapphire once stood tall, now lie rock and bones.
For In the valley of monarchs, the king's hall runs dry.
Awesome statues futilely attempting to depict the emperors who climbed
The ranks of goddom.
Beings who ascended and were thus the fit to rule,
Stand crumbled and laid to waste.

The ancients had always warned of such an event.
"Beware the passing of time,
for even towering gods collapse".

At the loss of such great nations,
the Gods and angels wept a mournful tune.
A tune which to those who were of the knowing few,
was of the death march.

Castles,
reduced to foundations.
Prisoners abandoned,
left to rot;
A choir of tortured voices echoed through the buried halls of the dismayed fortress.

A child sits alone in a rusted cell. In a far back outcrop of that already cryptic vault.
The child is afraid, a cosmos of terror
presented right into the eyes of the haunted.
Horrors on a scale beyond comprehension. the child stares.
Staring.
Staring.
Staring
... At what?
At the true meaning of its existence,
A learned method, one of liberation.

The child contemplated what to do. Tied in chains which reflect the true nature of
It's sins.
A sinful child indeed.

One may ask,
What did the child do to end up here? Even the gods and goddesses of such
A people could not answer that question. The child too,
Asked the same question.
But It knew by now the answer,
The split,
Indeed.

A dense collection of energy collides with a large cosmic body,
Rapturing and splintering into deadly bullets;
Striking such a planet.

We all return to stardust eventually, to the cosmos.
It's the inevitability of life.
A kingdom,
Now in heaven,
Forever suffering in hell.
