A hand's caress
Fifty years of wedded bliss,
Memories of that perfect kiss

Looking back, what do I see?
Silent moments, you and me.

It started when you took my hand,
Slipping on a wedding band.

A gentle touch, a warm embrace,
Your calloused hand upon my face.

Long and lean your fingers in mine
Gentle yet firm, they intertwine

Decades pass; that's how it goes
Yet this love will never slow

Your finger moves across my skin
Moving upward toward my chin

You rest your palm upon my cheek
The warm caress it makes me weak

Your perfect smile, my saving grace
As your hand touches my face

Prompt: They might have aged 50 years, but when they held yours, those hands felt exactly like they did the first time.
