Keeper of the Light

Living as the son of a father,
Lost with no answers in sight,
In the darkness, I searched for meaning,
In the hands of the Keeper of the Light.

In the world, I found no direction,
Only fear in the middle of the night,
As prey for predatory demons,
I called out to the Keeper of the Light.

Then I was lifted out of the darkness,
The sun shone warm and bright,
Allowing me to see the promise,
Of love of the Keeper of the Light.
