https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMrJrEubG/ Photos of pages from the book, Mao's Great Famine, and photos from when I was sitting in the park today reading it. The following are my own thoughts and words: Corporate "free market" capitalism and communism eventually converge and end up building a pyramid... and I don't walk like an Egyptian. Your leaders become so disconnected with the people, with the land, with everything that is real and tangible in this world, on this planet. You made corporate entities people and gave them rights, while millions of people around the world laboring for your corporate businesses suffer under authoritative regimes and do not have their rights as human beings recognized. You eat up all the small businesses and reduce your business models and your employees to numbers on spreadsheets, graphs and pie charts on power point presentations. Your only concern is your profit margin, which always must be exponentially higher each quarter to satisfy your stakeholders incessant demand for more and more. When is it enough? How much more must you take from us? How much more must you rape from the earth? How many more children must die in your fucking mines for precious metals, in the fields harvesting sugar cane, in the orchards harvesting fruit while you sit back like fat cats in designer fucking suits and feed them drugs so they will continue to work harder and longer and faster while the precious children, all the human beings you fucking exploit—along with what nature, our home planet selflessly provides—will consume less food and still feel some semblance of strength to carry on, to survive, without ever truly being able to live and to thrive. You stupid bloody corporate overlords and CEOs live so disconnected from reality in your technological fantasy worlds and endless boardroom meetings where you speak about diversity and equity and inclusion and belonging, where you discuss and create your anti-racism training manual bullshit that only serves to highlight our differences so that we focus on what divides us instead of what unites us. You created your exclusatory B-DIE religion and you hold it up and worship it like a golden calf made of molten electric battery pieces and outdated computer parts. You disconnect all of us from each other and from all that truly matters—from the earth, the sky, the water, all the beauty and bounty around us, from that which is genuine and authentic—our voices and our interactions with nature, with humanity, with our spirits, with the energies of this beautiful planet we call earth. https://www.writing.com/main/view_item/item_id/2293612-The-Ryugyong-Hotel |
