Exiled

Once a hero of great stature
Now he’s forced to tend the pasture

The epic tale that was to make his name

Has been left unwritten, such a shame

For this “hero of the people” took a shortcut to fame

And now is left to rot away, without another to place the blame

Alone at the top

He takes a hop

For exile was far too much for him to bear

This hero was left, unable to fare

Nothing remains but a song of few words

And some fluffy white things he now calls his herd.
