Game time is over.
“The ship was rocking violently in the roiling sea,” the deep voice intoned.

“Secure those sails and batten down the hatches, the captain roared. We’re getting too close to the dangerous rocks and shoals on this side of the island. The treasure won’t be any good to us if we lose the ship. Heave to me lads. We need to swing the bow.”

“The wind, sir, Jocko shouted. It’s the wind what’s against us. It’s pushing us right into the stony shallows. We’ll be sundered to splinters.”

“Just then the skies opened and sheets of rain washed over the ship,” said the voice, followed by splashing noises.

“Captain, this rain has half blinded us. And now it’s getting dark. We’re not gonna make it. We’re all gonna die.”

“Like hell we are, hollered back Captain Blackbeard as he thrust all his weight against the oak tiller, forcing the ship to move to port. Grab those ropes and put your backs into it.”

More sounds of splattering water were heard.

“Men were running, stumbling and sliding across the deck. The rain gushed down in buckets. The crew were crying and praying, but the Captain’s voice came bellowing above it all. We’re almost past the rocks, you slugs. Heaven’s on our side, me boys. Don’t be given up. Pull now, for all your worth.”

Suddenly the there were three thunderous bangs, followed by the high-pitched squeal of a young girl.

“Dad! Get out of the tub already. I gotta pee.”
