Easter/Spring Sonnet

In Spring when hope comes alive
when the sharp wind starts to mellow
and the flowers start to thrive

Like the daffodils showing their yellow
as the grasshopper hops right by
he's such a sprightly fellow

The birds start to happily fly
so very high and free
in the crystal clear blue sky

The future is what it will be
but there will always be Spring
with Easter bunnies hopping joyfully

It is so good when Spring does arrive
and nature does gladly revive
