Watched from Afar

"We are being watched" said Jeff

"What?" replied Alice

Jeff pointed to the forest, "Look over there"

Alice turned her head. "Are you playing with me?"

"No, there is something"

Jeff opened the door and walked outside while Alice watched. He walked over to the side of the forest.

"Are you sure their is something out there?" Alice called out.

"I am certain of it" replied Jeff

"Well I was just about to say..."

Jeff interrupted Alice, "did you hear that?"

"No, is there something going on?" replied Alice.

"I'm fine" replied Jeff.

"Are you sure? Because..."

"There's something here"

Not to be interrupted, Alice blurted out, "Jeff there is nothing there! And I love you!"

Jeff froze.

Alice inquired, "Are you ok?"

Jeff finally spoke, "I'm just, I'm just scared of commitment because ever since..."

Alice replied, "It's ok, we can take it slow. Was there really something? "

Jeff answered, "No, it was just my fear of letting myself feel"
