Town Of My Youth

We were just kids playing outside all day
no worries in our lives, just laughter and joy
as long as we had the ball it was okay
no fancy devices, just us simple boys

We often wandered around our little town
sometimes we got into trouble, but always got out
moms were happy as long as we are safe and sound
those are the memories that will always count

Driving with a girl deep into the night
if I was lucky we went to some hidden places
what happened after a gentleman would never say or write
some good times and a lot of fun situations

Town of my youth forever in my mind
a part of me since I was a child
the one and only you can't just find it
but I can surely write about it
