A tribute to our Armed Forces men and women - hope they find peace in the aftermath-a poem |
Magic’s engendered when the enemy’s bad - Wounds and lost souls, end up hurt, make us sad. Liberty and freedom must somehow be had. You make us so proud, brother, sister, mom, dad… A worthwhile journey to measure this scope; Efforts, analysis providing sweet hope… Serving for progress, a slippery slope. Many great soldiers so ready, must cope… A demon’s solution, which diplomacy gets… United and focused against all vile threats! Owning the missions, the reasons for debts; Service dissolves, is the construct that sets… Why those two decades, then leave right away - No wonder we’re constructed to battle that way; How all evil nations, terror groups come to play - Every dark actor looks to have the last say. Violence and weapons, not targets by choice - The world’s freedom fighters, America’s Rolls Royce… We’re vehement pay dirt, now hearing that voice. America’s troops exact payment - invoice… Apply that pressure, sent by generals and admirals - Dominate, defeat, and decimate these infidels… The bullseye of communists, haters, and radicals - Now headed to graveyards, tombstones, and funerals… |
