Ruts

Am I stuck in a rut?
Treading the same path again,
And again,
Same results.
Insanity.
The definition of insanity,
is doing the same things over and over,
Expecting different results.
Am I insane?

What if we are all insane?
Constantly walking the same paths,
Afraid to wander into the undergrowth.
Would it consume us?
Slowly eating away at our minds,
Possessing our thoughts,
slowly taking over.

What is insanity?
Who decided what was and wasn't insane?
Were they in a rut?
Are we all in ruts?
Constantly digging,
Desperate to escape,
Unable to see over the sides.
Stuck,
In a rut.
