UTTAR PRADESH COLLEGE STUDENT RECORDS HOSTEL TENANTS AND SHARES THE TAPES WITH AN ADULT TO BLACKMAIL THE STUDENTS

A student at the Government Homoeopathic Medical College in Gazipur, Uttar Pradesh, has been charged with filming offensive images and films of the residents of her dorm. Mantasha Kazmi, a first-year student, is charged with secretly filming the tenants of her dorm and mailing the tapes to Mohammad Amir, a college senior, who then allegedly utilized the evidence to blackmail the students. On August 7, the incident was made official after upset students reported it directly to the college's administration and the local police. The college administration launched an investigation after receiving a student complaint, which supported the claims. Consequently, the accused students were subject to disciplinary action. Both Mantasha Kazmi and Mohammad Amir were suspended over a period of six months. These were both BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) students in their respective years. The college's acting administrator, Dr. BN Sahni, revealed the case's specifics and said the accused students had been expelled for six months. a statement from Sahni, all offensive images and videos were removed from the accused students' phones.
Omveer Singh, the Gazipur superintendent of police, said that a complaint had been made in the meanwhile and added that they were treating the situation seriously and were currently conducting a comprehensive investigation.
He nevertheless took note that no pornographic images or films were found on the accused students' cell phones, raising the possibility that the phones had been formatted.
