Following the incident at the vending machines, Erica and Sarah try to get used to their growing and changing bodies with some help from Gretch. Sarah has a harder time, since she's further along than Erica. Clothing is starting to become an issue, since they're constantly gaining weight and the campus store doesn't carry clothing in their size. Erica notices that Hayley has some clothes that (barely) manage to fit her. She reluctantly asks Hayley where she got them. Hayley reveals she ordered them off the internet and complains that it's only a temporary solution. She'll be outgrowing them soon and isn't a fan of their style anyways. Erica recalls seeing some plus sized clothing in town that would've suited Hayley's style, before things went crazy. Hayley's almost offended that Erica even suggests 'plus sized clothing' but realizes that the average plus sized gal is slim compared to what she and Erica have become. Back in their dorm, Sarah wonders why Gretch isn't pregfat. Gretch has mixed feelings about this, she's relieved to not be fat and heavily pregnant, but concerned something worse might happen to her. Sarah wonders what could be worse than her situation: obese, freakishly pregnant, barely fitting into clothes, being hungry and lactating all the time, decreased mobility and mood swings. Both girls think about Sarah's situation and realize they don't want to know what's worse. Erica returns to the dorm and notes the odd vibe. Sarah and Gretch downplay things and ask her opinion about Gretch's immunity to the ongoing pregnancy + weight gain pandemic. Erica isn't sure and admits she thought Gretch got lucky. It then occurs to Erica that they might be asking the wrong question: instead of asking why Gretch isn't pregfat, they should ask why everyone else is. Gretch points out that everyone isn't pregfat, it's just the students. She, the school's staff, and the security team are fine. Sarah suggests that maybe school staff and security are too old to get pregnant. Erica and Gretch disagree, since not all of the school's staff and security are past their childbearing years. It occurs to Erica that Gretch, unlike the other girls on campus, isn't from a wealthy family. Most likely, the school's staff and security team aren't either. While Erica is unsure about bringing this up, Sarah asks if Gretch heard from Jenna. Gretch admits that she hasn't and her attempts to contact Jenna have failed. She reveals that Jenna's social media pages have been shut down since their last meeting. All that's left of her on the internet are 'lets play videos' she did in the past. Sarah jokes that maybe aliens were involved. Erica snaps and insists that Jenna's claims about being pregnant with multiple aliens weren't true, it was just her coping with the bizarre situation. Gretch and Sarah are shocked by Erica's outburst. Erica asks if they really believe aliens are involved. Sarah says nothing and Gretch points out that the only way for them to know for sure is to get ultrasounds. Erica realizes she's lactating and apologizes for her outburst. She goes to clean herself up, leaving Sarah and Gretch alone. Gretch assumes Erica's having mood swings, but Sarah thinks there's more to it. Her mood swings were never that extreme. Meanwhile, Erica bathes and reflects on the day. Her body and pregnancy grow while bathing, but she's less concerned about that. Her outburst, Hayley's earlier words, and Jenna's claim about aliens or monsters growing in their wombs, haunts Erica. She wonders if she's truly in control of herself. Later that night, Sarah wakes up. She's no longer in her dorm with Gretch and Erica. She's standing in front of a vending machine with crumbs all over her body. Sarah's confused, she has trouble moving around due to her pregnancy weight, yet she somehow waddled out of bed and made it to another part of campus on her own? Worried about being discovered by security, Sarah makes her way back to the dorm. En route, she sees an immobile, monstrously obese and hyper pregnant girl getting wheeled away on a reinforced stretcher by security. As they pass by, Sarah feels a lot of movement in her belly. It occurs to Sarah, that if things continue this way, she and all of the girls on campus will wind up like the girl whisked away by security. Exhausted, Sarah manages to return to the dorm. She considers waking Erica and Gretch but decides not to. Before turning in, Sarah notices slight movement and growth in Erica's belly. The next morning, Gretch and Erica wake up feeling refreshed, although Erica is noticeably heavier than she was last night. They go to wake Sarah and realize she's grown exponentially. Gretch and Erica are unsure of how to proceed, since every option ends with Sarah getting a rude awakening. Before they can decide, Principal Grahme makes an announcement over the loudspeaker: there's going to be an assembly before breakfast. |
