Mother Tree

My doppelganger is a mother tree
and a banyan most specifically.

Supportive embrace of the wood wide web
mycorrhizal fungi and all are fed.

The Tree of Life is about belonging
the nesting birds and the morning calling.

Lichens writing missives in her soil
cultivate magic instead of toil.

Mother Tree is not a stable creature
her cracks and crevices are my teacher.

Her dreaming is aligning a new birth
a world of rapture ,playfulness and mirth.

So we must meet her here among her roots
inside this house of worship seeking truth.
