Guardians

Since the beginnings oft time, ancient spirits have roamed the universe. Tired of wandering, five spirits decide to settle down. By balancing themselves, they create a perfect place, where life thrives, Earth. As the peak of their creation, they decide to create a perfect being, resembling the spirits themselves. So Terra gives the being its body, Aquas gives the blood, Ignis gives the warmth, Aer gives its breath and Cosmos bestows its mind. Living in peace with their enviroment, the spirits like to wander amongst them. As humanity flourishes, the sixth spirit, Tenebris, a greedy, insatiable being, known for destroying galaxies in its inexhaustible hunger, finds out about the created oasis, it decides to take a look. Once arrived, the spirit finds itself in a perfect place. Lead by its greed and envy, it evolves feelings of hatred against the other spirits and the inhabitants of this paradise. Therefore it decides to take over and destroy the planet and the other spirits. To begin, Tenebris spreads negative feelings, hatred, envy, anger, amongst the humans. The other spirits, still among the inhabitants, notice the change and feel the presence of an obscure force. As they find Tenebris; Cosmos, Aquas, Ignis, Terra and Aer unite to take their opponent down. After a long and exhausting fight, lasting five years, the united spirits manage to trap Tenebris in an orb, making him immobile. But their victory came with a price. The spirits themselves were trapped in another orb, leaving them incapacitated. Knowing that, they had chosen a human to guard their own and the dark orb to ensure balance in the world. They gave him a gift, the guardian and his descendants would have powers, forces belonging to the spirits transmitted by blood into humans. These powers would help them to keep balance and ensure the creation of the spirits. After many milennia, the humans evolved, losing their powers in the blood line. But in the heart of a big city, one group of guardians still remains...
