Untouchable

All good things must end, they say
I wish for your presence
I dream about you all the time
despair plagues the body

But I don't want to live
without your feelings
without your presence
Untouchable


Thunderstorms

Flashing lights, booming sounds
I want to hide under my bed
But I can't run away from this storm
Of words and hate and grief
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But words stick to my heart
And never leave me
Never give me any peace

Just like a thunderstorm
I can't hide from it
It will always find me
It may pass over time
But it remains in my memory
The noises, the flashes
The things that I can't erase
No matter how hard I try


Time

Sitting
Waiting
The only thing in the room
Is an ivory clock on the wall
Tick
Tock
My eyes are drawn
To the ivory clock on the wall
Tick
Tock
Why are we kept by time
By the ivory clock on the wall

Sitting
Waiting
Listening for any sounds
Any sounds that differ from the
Tick
Tock
Not another sight in the room
Except for the ivory clock on the wall
Tick
Tock
I cannot leave this time
Kept by the ivory clock on the wall
