A woman waits for her groom to come
The mansion was lovely this time of year
in days when the parties were once held here.
That all ended when the murders took place,
now all that's seen is the young woman's face.
It was supposed to be her wedding day,
instead, in a pool of blood the groom lay.

Why did this happen, the people all asked,
who was the man who quickly appeared, masked.
Shots were fired, all the family were dead,
blood running out of the holes in their head.
Then one final shot rang out in the night,
the masked man fell too; the crowd ran in fright.

The doors were locked, no one came anymore,
except to look at the window, fourth floor,
For the fallen bride could be seen each night.
Her blood-stained wedding dress gave all a fright.
Screams could be heard through the dark midnight air
and black vacant eyes did nothing but stare.

The killer once loved this maiden so fair,
her upcoming wedding, he couldn't bear.
His twisted mind thought he'd end both their lives.
Unable to stop him when he arrives.
the crowd was aghast at what happened next
and grieved all the lives this man had just wrecked.

The family was gone and would be no more.
A banker came by and locked all the doors.
The haunted mansion no buyers did seek,
When they came to look, they heard a loud shriek.
The woman appeared at the top of stairs,
and gave everyone her cold, haunted stare.

The mansion has fallen into decay,
and barely a soul goes by there each day.
Ravens still guard the fourth floor balcony,
it seems they too have immortality.
The woman waits for her groom to awake,
and once more in marriage her hand will take.
