Someone wrote a song that said “Who let the dogs out?”
-Out to play in the cold new snow.
No one around admits the deed,
But in the yard, the dogs jump with glee.
Choosing to bark at a squirrel in the tree,
Plump and happy as he could be.
Aiming another woof at a bunny who runs
Under the fence, an escape made good.
They zoom around paths in the very deep white
Delighted to be out in day of sunlight.
Soon, a voice calls them back to the door
Maybe tomorrow they’ll play a bit more.
