Why I prepare for Halloween

Halloween is around the corner.
I go to the grocery store.
Lots of candy to choose from,
I look at the selection carefully.

Super excited about what's to come,
I picked out chocolate and some suckers.
Halloween is around the corner,
and I wanted to be prepared.

I next go to a party store
filled with costumes and party accessories.
I looked at my choices of what
I could combine for a costume.

Halloween comes and I am prepared,
dressed up in my Halloween outfit.
Stoked, I waited for children to come,
so I could pass out the Halloween candy.
