The schools come alive, with the return of children. With bright eyes, they learn from our collective past. Their halls are all filled, with the sounds from our future. Their minds are all filled with the wonders of youth. (The wonders of youth) Oh, to live life without the taint of bias. That rises from that which they’re taught. (Which they’re taught) Our love shall return, from all our children. Like birds flying by on warm summer day. Growing up and learning, that we’re all equals. Our differences set aside for the greater good. (The greater good) Through our youth we pass on, What wisdom we have gained. Our homes come alive, with the return of our children. With their voices, they share what they have learned. Our rooms are all filled, with the sounds of our future. Hearts are filled with wonder, thankful for their lives. What’s the point of life, without the inclusion of children? They return our love, as they grow before us. There hearts are all filled, with dreaming of their futures. They develop and grow, before they fly away. (Before they fly away) Our future is bright, resting in the hands of our children. They rise and take our places as we age. (As we age) We all fly away, returning where we came from. Leaving the world behind, within those caring hands. Their homes shall come alive, with the arrival of their children.
