Things are so bad for her I fear
Really I want to say to them
Why do you feel so sorry for me
Will your sorrow pay my bills
Will your sorrow fill my hungry belly
Or put some jelly on my bread
Will you feeling sorry for me change anything
Will it make me free at all
Or do you want to feel like a good person so you say I feel sorry for her
When I hear that phrase I know it’s all about you
You don’t intend on helping me do a thing
How about instead showing some true Empathy
However you feel sorry for me how delicious and delightful for me
You feeling this way will see me through many a dark night
