Yearning for exploration. A Serpent's Tail Poem.
Daunting, the far horizon beckoned
reckoned in miles no distance
persistence will get us there no doubt
scout ahead won't you, see what we must heed,
need to avoid, step around
unbound, following our inclination
exploration of our possibilities
capabilities stretched, and tried
stride on, best foot forward and so on
yon lies our eventual destination, taunting
daunting, the far horizon beckoned.

"Any line length, no set number of lines and no meter. To make the serpent, the last word of each line rhymes with the first word of the following line with the last line being the same as the first, so the serpent eats its own tail."
