In the event of my passing or disappearance
Hey Mike. I hope you're doing as well as you have been.

If you're reading this, it's probably because I've disappeared. I had spent my entire life trying to figure out how to, basically, save the world, but it never seemed to pan out. I'd even found something that was, seemingly, impossible to ignore, but now I'm here. I don't know what to say about that, other than I hope that you can find purpose in less demanding ways. If not, I wish you the absolute best in your own persuits.

I need you to know that I respect you for all that you've already accomplished in your lifetime. You're incredible, and I wouldn't be surprised to see you take things farther than I could even imagine. You're a smart guy, and your life is just beginning. I need you to understand how important what you decide to do next is. It's going to play a major role in the rest of your life. You should think about it until you come to a decision that makes you truly happy.

I need you to recognize yourself. You're just getting started. You still have the rest of your life ahead of you. The impact that you actually make in this world is up to you. If all that you do is live well and lead a good life, you will have made the world a better place. All you need is to continue to find what makes you happy, and to be good to people. Everyone. Always. You can do that. Easily. And you should. Definitely.

I need you to understand that I always loved you, and I've always wanted the best for you. I wasn't always able to figure out what the best actually was for you, but I absolutely refused to quit on you, no matter where you were headed or what you were doing. I will never quit on you. I will try and do anything to make sure that you can actually get through this life and find respect for yourself and be successful, how ever you define success for yourself. Now, I need you to not quit on you. I need you to try and do whatever it takes for you to be a success in your eyes.

Just don't forget to be good to people.

You will be alright, and I will always be there for you, in your heart, and in your thoughts, whenever you need me. I've always loved you, probably beyond what you could understand, but I would do just about anything to get you through this world. For you to actually have a good life that you can actually be happy with. That's right there for you. You just have to think, reach out, and grab it. Don't sell yourself short. Don't pretend that you can't. Live your life, and do it well.

I love you Mike. I'm sorry I couldn't do more, but I think the truth is, you didn't need it. Go have a good life. Maybe I'll see you again someday, if you decide that you want to.

There is a God and there is a Heaven. So there is no reason to worry about me. I've lived through, only, the very best motivations that you can live by. Maybe my life makes the difference I hoped to make after my passing. Maybe it doesn't. There's only one way to find out.

Now, go on and live that life of yours. Be really, truly, and exactly you.

Be Michael Daniel Griffin.
