I've nowt to give and so my gift
         is all I have and am.
No love to give, I give my heart.
No touch, I give a damn.

I give but poorly ev'ry gift.
         I've nothing grand to give.
The best and worst of all I hold
         are days for you I live.

I'm nowt to me, but in your heart
         where gifts of love are stored,
upon a shelf for me alone
I sit. Am I adored?

I place myself into your hand,
         a gift of all and nowt,
and sure of nothing but the gift;
uncertain of the doubt.
