"Play with me daddy!" Hearing those words out of my little boy's mouth always felt like heaven. I haven't seen him this eager to play or be happy in years. "Play with me daddy!" he'd repeat over and over till i got off the couch. His eyes would always light up every time I got up. "Play time, play time! Daddy I wanna play!" Kids are always loud and bouncy when they get what they want, aren't they. Whether it be something small as a kiss on the knee to feel better, to an outing at their favorite park. Though for some reason my child always asked for one thing. He always wanted me to play with him. That's all. Nothing big either, just a small game of catch, hide and seek, or tag.
