Congratulations on your third place win in Rebel Poetry with your poem Adams Apple.

Adam's Apple

We weep what we sow
The fruit of our labors
like ideas once planted
now rainbows and worms

some of them rotted.

I'm not to blame
for the vomit I spread.
I hold onto no shame
... just so you know.

I'm rotten to the core

as I weep, as I sow.
I hold shit at arm's length
yet keep asking questions
for that's how I grow.
