A Role in Definite Decline: The Promise

Versus jeopardy and infamy,
And with an understated knowing,
A greater, stoic voice offers wherewithal
And weak celebration;
The climb remains hardened
By soothsayers and infinite,
Denigrating truths. 

The vastness is simply aware -
How do we heighten the pride we feel
And our vapid contempt
Of these loathsome enemies? 

The strongest and mightiest
Must lean on their status,
As individuals who sustain grueling trials
With well-trained prowess
And sterling equipment;

We are an entity
Whose verses are highlighted
By heartbreaking tragedy;
In an era of sketchy ruination,
Superfluous reckoning,
And social steering,
Let’s extend a weathered, happy,
And convincing forecast -

Judge, jury, and executioner -
The bowels of whom are mashed,
Shall preside over decency, calm,
And exhalation;

Amid the deepest love in spectrum’s realm,
Our own, sweet, rational portrait
Of our viable worth and promise…
