Featured in the Fantasy Newsletter "Fantasy Newsletter (September 1, 2021)" A Problem It is untenable. It is unsolvable. It is intolerable. It is unthinkable. It is miserable. Do we have a problem? There you are. I have the problem. Singular. I thought we were a team. We were until you ran off and left me to fend for myself. Good thing I came back to check on you. Are you going to help? Or just stand there looking at me… Well, I don’t know. Let me think about this. Come on, give me a shove. I could just continue, leave you alone. Just a little nudge is all I need. It’ll just take a moment for me to dash down there. Be a buddy, be a pal. Help me up. If I help you, it’ll put me behind. But if you help me, we’ll still be a team. I really have to move. Is this what teamwork is all about? I’ll be just a minute, I’ll be fleet of foot. Are you just going to leave me here like this? Honest, I’ll be right back. (Off he runs) (If I just … flip. Ah!) Hey! I’m back. I’m fine now. See you later. Is that any way to be? I came back to help. Words, hare, words. See them bouncing off my shell? W/C 210 |
