I Have Lived Long Enough!

My house is very quiet this morning as I listen to the birds outside, and miss the footsteps of my great-grandson Aiden. What another beautiful day that we have outside.

I am always in awe/amazement at how our weather is on our planet. Sunshiny and bright in Maryland. Raining, flooding, and other weather conditions in Louisiana and Texas. While there is a drought in California. For me there is no understanding of these weather patterns, but I am always thankful to be exactly where I am every single day.

I have lived long enough to just be thankful to be alive.

I have lived long enough to know that things can change in an instant.

I have lived long enough to know that nothing is promised to me.

I have lived long enough to appreciate having something to do and being able to do it.

I have lived long enough to be grateful for the small things in life.

Yes, I have lived long enough to know that every day is a gift that is why it is called a PRESENT!
