Mauna Kea

I didn’t climb Mauna Kea
Or “do what the Roman’s do”
When I visited Hawaii,
But I hear that Pele
And all the ancient Gods
Stop to see her
When they are in town.
I am not really sure
Because I never left
The beaches and bars
And beachside bars
To do much
Besides visit the ABC stores
For clean t shirts
And postcards with pictures
Of all the places
I didn’t get around
To visiting.
