A story of one tired soul seeking a peruse in a universe on the edge of disaster.
Jay Harah once training to be the next  sage of Gulavult until events transpired that led to the young mage dabbing in blood magic , and this downhill spiral lead him to become involved in the schemes of the newly freed Margret Padrana  which left the village of  Korinith in ruins. Now believed responsible for the deaths of the villagers he  now hides from the council's enforcers, the hunters and Kiem Knights . He has lived on the run all these years living day to day from his adventures and making a name for himself  in away from the council's gaze

But all would change one day for better or for worse. And on the Day the Havasta Incident hit the universe sending arcane energy across the Material plane sending all those gifted with planeshift to random places Jay among them.

And so one minute he was in a small town in Andeal but the next he found himself in a strange place.  It was damp and dark with the only sound he could hear is the dripping of water in the distance.   He cast a spell to light the room and found himself in some sort of ruin and recognised it immediately as belonging to  the Aldeans, recognizing the writing and architecture  from his Days at Milli's School, once an Aldean ruin, and his old homeworld which had once been colonised by the Ancient aldeans.  This made Jay uneasy knowing well from his youth that such ruins were seldom unguarded and he remembered all too well the might of said security measures, his bones aching just thinking about his last encounter . Knowing of the Aldeans love for putting enchantments and other magics into most of their technology he was swift to cast Detect magic in order to better see them and he sensed a great amount of power coming from deeper within. This piqued his curiosity, causing him to go deeper into the ruins, despite his better judgment.  He walked slowly through the ancient halls, ancient heroes of Aldare, A painter who effected reality, a being of energy fighting a spiky haired man. There was an image of Samuel Padrana. The first paladin one of the few Jay recognised by name , given his rival Margaret was his descendant, though she fell far from his noble lineage, as well as one of what must have been a Terraglyth like his old headmaster given they had similar eyes.   There was a flyer of some strange ship made of living metal, a man of science and madness  and a warrior woman of great power.     He passed the images of many mages of great regard  but as he was looking at an image of one hero of old, a sullen barrier mage he began to feel an ancient and terrible presence, something quite alien to him.
For in the wake of the Incident that now wreaked havoc across this universe another had discovered this ancient vault, one eldritch being that hungered for magic, and unfortunately as Jay sensed it... it also sensed him.

He was swift to continue along his way thinking he could discover the secrets of the vault and planeswalk away before whatever this thing was could find him. Though soon he realized his folly as he saw a security golem drained of its power...he soon realized what this was.  "An Echo... God help me!" He cried and prepared to leave but soon realised it was too late for that, as he heard an erry giggle.

. He looked to see the silhouette of a small girl approach him... within her nothing but emptiness as If the void itself had manifested as this child, consuming  all the arcane magic into herself as  black hole would light.
"Hello new Friend!" It spoke approaching him . Jay understandably fled from the creature though it prevented him from teleporting.   He ran, the distorted  childlike laughter was just behind him slowly floating up to him.    In fear he cast several aggressive spells at his pursuer  only for her to consume its power using it  to create reflections of itself all giggling and flying in tandem. He soon realised this was the Yaddie Prime a deadly Echo from Aldare, a eldritch being spawned from the destruction of the first world, with an endless hunger for magical energies.  Quickly Jay realised how outmatched his was and believed himself doomed as he ran as quickly as he could.

He kept running dodging  her attacks as he did so     even managing to take out a few of the spawns with the blade of his staff.  But still more came and he could not harm the original Jay saw no chance for his survival and prepared himself for his death but soon found himself at the core of the facility a large vault full of weapons of ancient aldare deemed far too dangerous to be left lying around.  With new found hope Jay sealed the vault doors to give himself some much needed time .  He looked through the weapons and soon found a strange device marked  "G.B." With a description he loosely translate as a device that binds otherworldly entities. Jay seeing no alternative used this along with other weapons to set a trap for his foe and soon prepared to end this combat spectacularly. And so when the Yaddie entered they were soon met by deadly rays and blasts from the various archived weapons destroying many of the spawn even before the main device was activated.  It drew the Prime down to the floor forcing her to destroy her remaining spawn to keep herself whole. Jay watched as she flailed around thinking she would revert into some horrible thing before dying but she did not, now looking more like a child than ever... A child Jay was causing excruciating pain to.    He watched her his eyes full of pity as she writhed in pain... Jay thought to himself earlier that he would be the first to slay one of the Echos of Aldare, but now seeing the action as it happens he began to regret this.   He looked upon the creature, the girl and could not go through with ending her, and so he  turned off the machine .  She would look at him confused at his mercy before falling unconscious allowing Jay to teleport away unimpeded not knowing the effects of his act of Mercy.
