The prompt is to include the following words, bolded, in the poem or Story: Boots, Cat, Dog & Puppylove Walking My Humans I no longer jump like I used to, frolic with puppylove joy I do other things besides playing with silly dog toys I no longer run like I used to, but I still wag my tail the cats are safe from me now they no longer see me come in and wail I still like a good brushing and hate a new bath Follow the boots of my pack leader his feet choose my path I still like to walk them, these humans of mine Autumn is here now tomorrow, One day at a time. When I wrote this, I knew things were slowing down, but we still walked, all that autumn, until almost the last day. Blessed with a lot of nice days as Miss Boo did not like to venture out in the rain. If it rained, she wouldn't go far and needed a golf umbrella to shield her while she did her business. Our beloved Boo passed away on one of the last days of autumn, December 18, 2020, this same year this was written. We miss her so much every single day as the seasons change... |
