Backwoods

I am the center
This rock and I
Crystal clear cool water
Is all around
Waterfalls dance
Up a massive gorge
Bringing
Ever more water
To the left
Moss covered boulders
They bow so solemnly
At the mighty sequoia's feet
Their regal heads
Topped only by
Endless blue sky
There is no sound
There are a million sounds
Listen...constant flowing water
Fish the frolic under
Dragon-fly a-buzz
Grains of sand
Gently nudged
By the patient ant
