THE STARS

         Have you ever gazed upon the night sky and wondered what is beyond that eternal darkness? You probably have, in fact, all of us probably have at some points in our lives. Well, the answer lies within the question itself: Eternity it is, at least that is my perception. The night sky poses no difference to void to me, a pure blackness that absorbs everything around it, not even light could escape. After all, when light diffuses from all synthetic light sources down on earth, it leaves no sign of its existence at all. A deep blank space that whoever created this world seemed to have forgotten to fill it is. Or perhaps, is it us humans who have blocked the multi-colouredness of the sky with our own veil of light?
