My First poem in English, learning to listen and understand somebody's choices.
Dipers and Dreams

There once was a girl

walking a road,

talking of dipers and dreams.

Along walked her Shadow,

learning from stories at age of eighteen.

The girl told her story,

not catching a breath,

as they ran on the road,

not seeing an end.

Babbling about

crying and creams,

bottles and bibs,

bladders and beans,

cigarettes, calluses, cribs;

for hours on end

crying about dipers and dreams!

The story went on,

girl quick in her pace,

back to their place,

she goes to face,

they go to face,

sick look on the face,

the Big Bad's face,

she must face,

they must face,

just hold on and brace yourself,

and face yourself.

Face a fate once embraced,

once Shadow was eight,

A face yet a nightmare to face,

only - a face.

So the story goes on,

and it will tomorrow.

Despide the crippling sorrow,

the girl carries mountains and hills,

swims the River of Tears,

but because of her Shadow,

never living behind dipers and dreams.
