Bio

Born in a mining town in South Yorkshire England, Joi is the proverbial Home Bird. She lives on the same road where she was born and where her parents still live. Married in 1982, Joi and her husband have raised four children and are proud grandparents to eight grandchildren.

Joi is an avid reader and often quips that she will read the back of a sauce bottle if nothing else is available. She took up writing after leaving work through ill health in 2002 and has had success being published both online and in print. When not writing or reading Joi enjoys gardening and a host of hobbies from embroidery to watercolour painting and decorating rocks for her grandchildren to hide.
