The feeling, the raw emotion that I didn’t know existed, is what inspires me to continue. When I think back to that first performance, the excitement inside me builds, overwhelming me with amazement. How could I have known a life without it? I didn’t know what happiness was, but how could I? I found my passion in a place I’d never have expected, but with the passion came a yearning, a longing for more. I crave the adrenaline of stepping out on stage, seeing the crowd, then losing myself in the story I represent. When it’s over, they all cheer. I can’t help but smiling, grinning from ear to ear; even now, a year later, I beam when I recall the memory. I have found what I love, and I’ll love it to the day I die.
