International Buffet

I look at all the food and sigh,
Ethnic dishes from across the Earth,
Rogan Josh, Spanish rice, and pork pie,
Enough food to expand my girth.

I want to sample each dish,
Kung Pao Shrimp, Mizo soup, Spaetzles,
Barigoule, Dizi, deep fried Catfish,
Hummus, Irish brown bread, and soft pretzels.

I go to the Mexican section,
I see Carnitas and Jalapeños,
Sold out is my favorite selection:
There are never enough tacos.
