Dear Me, 2020

Dear Me,

By the grace of God, we enter a new decade. Decades gone before, becoming a blur. Goals, resolutions have pretty much been set in the past and we are still working on them. The watchword for us in this new decade is "balance".

         Health, move, eat smart and pray. We know how to do it. Just do it!
         Environment, check chaos, seek order. The routine is set. We've got this.
         Career, winding down, retire at 80? Don't drop dead on our clients. Work smart.
         Love, of self, family, friends, acquaintances, strangers, nature. Cherish the moments.
         Creativity, art as expression, as legacy, as sanity. Daily, open to inspiration and challenge, write, write, write.
         Play, live joyfully, find the fun, laugh often.
         Spirit, always ask "what would Jesus do?", then do it!

We must make time in our day for each element, every day. Hopefully, we will make it to the next decade still whole.
