Arrested Development fanfic (GMxMB)

This story takes place at the end of Season 3 of Arrested Development. However in this, George Michael and Maeby fibd out about Lindsay's adoption and Michael convinces the family not to sell.

George Michael and Maeby had just found out that Maeby was not adopted after seeing very graphic pictures from Tobias. This fact was made uncomfortable by their make-out session after Maeby's birthday party. Things looked to over for them when Lindsay came bursting througn the front door.

"I'm not a Bluth! I'm so glad i'm not related to any of you!".
Michael was confused by this sudden outburst. "What do you mean Lindsay?".
Lindsay replied in an almost bragging tone "I came back from Stan Sitwell's and he told me I was actually his daughter".
George Sr. was worried, Stan Sitwell being a father figure to Lindsay could lead to disaster for the company.
"How do you know he's telling the truth, that man can't grow hair, you think he's trustworthy?".
"Mom confirmed with me that it's the truth", Lindsay said again in a bragging, mocking voice.
"Damnit Lucille". George Sr. knew he now would have to compete with Stan Sitwell not only in business but with being a father too, it was especially tough on him since Lindsay was his favourite.
George Sr. wondered if Stan also mentioned that Lindsay was actually 40 instead of 37. "Did he tell you about the uh.. age thing?".
Lindsay made a glare at George Sr., she was angry not at him not telling her her real age but rather the fact that he brought it up.
George Sr. understood this, "Ah...".

Tobias came in, having just finished a call from Carl Weathers who decided to cast Tobias in his a TV movie about a gay man who hasn't come out yet. However Tobias never noticed that was what the movie was about.
"Great news honey, Carl spoke to me again. He wants me to play the starring role in a drama film called "In the Closet". This is a dream role, my character speaks to me like it represents my true inner thoughts, I will put my all into this production and to enhance my method acting, I will re-enact scenes from the script in my day-to-day routine, I-".
Lindsay interrupted Tobias' ramblings. "I'm adopted, i'm not a Bluth, i'm a Sitwell".
Tobias chimed in, "Funke".
Michael was still recovering from the news that his sister was adopted, and from Tobias' idiocy but felt a need to address an important issue.
"How will you tell Maeby?, I've noticed her and George Michael have been getting much closer recently and I don't want that to be affected by them not being blood relatives".
Lindsay realized she would have to tell her daughter, "I'll tell her now".

Maeby was in her room pondering her feelings for George Michael. She knew she loved him and he loved her, but nothing can come from it if they are related.
Lindsay burst through the door with a still ecstatic look on her face.
"I found out I'm adopted, i'm not related to any of this insane family and neither are you, sorry that you and George Michael aren't technically related anymore".
Lindsay ran back to the others to say how easy it was to tell Maeby.
Maeby meanwhile had her mouth wide open from shock and relief at hearing the news. As they no longer had a blood connection, she felt that she and George Michael could continue dating.

George Michael was in the bathroom crying. He almost had his dream girl, his cousin, and now he thought he would never have the chance again.
Then suddenly he heard a knock and Maeby's voice. "George Michael? Can I come in?"
George Michael cleaned up his tears and opened the door, only to be greeted by Maeby's lips.
"But, but I thought it was over, we're related"
George Michael didn't care at all about them being related and having a relationship but he knew that Maeby did.
Maeby looked into his eyes and said "But that's just the thing, we're not related".
George Michael was startled. "But the pictu-"
;"I'm not adopted, my mum is. She is really Stan Sitwell's daughter and Pop pop and Gangie adopted her"

George Michael thought about the words Maeby had just spoken and for the first time, George Michael initiated the kiss.

The shareholders party was tomorrow and the Bluth family needed to look as good as possible to convince them not to sell, otherwise Lucille 2 will end up owning the company. So George Sr. made sure that Lindsay being adopted would not become public knowledge.
"So no talking about it, no bragging and no even hinting to it"
"OK Dad"
"Stan may be your biological father but I am you father, all he is is a hairless freak"
"Okay...". Lindsay thought of an idea. "But I want you to pretend i'm still 37, no wait, 35"
"You know its not very nice to blackmail your father". Even though George Sr. said this, he had done much worse things to his family. "Ugh, fine"
Lindsay felt youngef already, "Yeah!"

Tobias meanwhile was immersed in his role as closeted homosexual Bryan Walters, performing parts of the screenplay in everyday life. Rights now Tobias was perfrming a scene where the character starts a gay pride parade, even though Tobias thought the character was just being a motivational speaker.
"Don't be afraid to be your true self, don't hide your feelings, no matter wha they be!"
Tobias identified a lot with the character, he thought he truly encapsulated what its like being an analrapist. Soon Tobias would end up leading a gay pride parade like in the script after homosexuals flocked around him, encouraged by his words and becuse they recognized him from his book "The Man Inside Me". Tobias felt happy he was able inspire people using his analrapy techniques.
"Why aren't we a gay lot!", Tobias exclaimed.
As Tobias led a gay pride parade, he thought to himself about what Lindsay told him earlier.
"And they really think i'm gay, huh?"

Maeby and George Michael were making out, still excited about them being able to be together. But they still needed to convice their parents that they could date, after all the family still considers Lindsay and Maeby part of the family.

Michael was finally relaxing after a long day of preperation. It would come to his surprise when a slutty dressed Lindsay jumped on him when he as in bed.
"Lindsay?", Michael gasped
"We're not really related so we can finally be togetherness like I dreamed"
"But we're still family!"
"Not anymore, and besides didn't you always say I was beautiful?"
Lindsay tried to make Michael feel guilty about refusing her advances, which worked in a way, but nt the way Lindsay hoped.
"I'm uh, not into dating older women"
Lindsay left, feeling rejdcted and insulted, as the family was supposed to pretend she was 35 now, 2 years younger than Michael.
Michael felt weirded out. "That took Family First to another level..."

The boat party had started, it had two purposes, one to name Michael as the new CEO and another to keep the shareholders from selling all their stock. George Sr. was on stage.
"After I was wrongfully imprisoned for crimes I did not commit, it got me thinking about retirement and effective immediately, Iannounce my successor as Michael Bluth"
Michael went up to the stage as he rehearsed. He made his acceptance speech and teared up, he mentioned that him being CEO, butmore importantly his family being together made this the happiest he had felt. Unfortanately for Michael, this day was about to get a whole lot worse.

George Michael was wandering around the ship when he saw his ex-girlfriend Egg, I mean Ann. George Michael thought perhaps she or one of her family members was a shareholder. "What are you ding here?" said George Michael.
"I'm with my new boyfriend", replied Hand.
"Boyfriend?", "hmmm", George Michael wad surprised but not jealous. But not as surprised as when he meets Egg's new boyfriend.
"Uncle GOB?"
"George Michael, great to see you, you okay with this right?"
"I guess so, but you're 40 and she's 17, isn't that weird?"
"Well you're a year younger than her and you dated"
"But thats not a difference of 23 years!"
"But, we cool?"
George Michael sighed, there was no reason to be angry at GOB, he was with Maeby now. "Okay".
"Yes!".

Suddenly, police boats swarmed around the HMS Queen Mary. The police went on to the ship. "prepare to be boarded".
Michael thought somehow the police had not known about his father's releasement of treason charges and went to settle things with the cops.
"Guys, guys, my father's treason charges have been dropped. He's free now"
The police checked their papers. "Nope, he has arrest warrant".
"They dropped the carges, George Bluth is innocent!"
"George Bluth?, this warrant is for Michael Bluth, the CEO of Bluth Enterprises".
"Michael Bluth, the CEO?, well I'm Michael Bluth". After he said that Michael was tackled and arrested.
Lucille was worried about the shareholders, "how could this day get any more humiliating".
GOB went on his knees in front of Lindsay, his adopted sister. "Lindsay, will you marry me? I found out now we're not related, but I've found you incredibly sexy since high school".
Lindsay slapped GOB which led GOB to quietly return to Hand, "you hopefully didn't hear the commotion."

At the model home, Lindsay recieved a letter (Michael too but he couldn't get it from jail). She opened it and was shocked to find a marriage certificate for Maeby and George Michael officially certified.
"George Michael!, Maeby!""
The two kids ran downstairs and were at a loss of words at finding out ta Lindsay found they were married.
"What is this?"
Maeby spoke, feeling no fear from her parents. "Me and George Michael Got married, rel maried, by accident".
Lindsay was surprised but she gave her opinions on the matter.
"CONGRATULATIONS!!!, why didn't you tell me?, oh, Michael, right". Lindsay didn't care much about the incestous marriage, as she felt feelings towards Michael.

Tobias, due to his accidental leading of a gay pride parade, had become somewhat of a pariah for homosexuals. Carl Weathers used this in his advertising for his new movie "In the Closet", now on the poster in big bolded letters, "Starring famous homosexual Tobias Funke".
Even though all this attention may have benefitted Carl Weathers and his film, Tobias got into a heap of trouble because of it. A local homophobic gang now has Tobias Funke as their biggest target.

Michael was in jail and so far, no one has come up with the bail money, all his family more involved with their own business. Lucille was the only one to visit him.
"I just think for the sake of the company we should keep you in jail. If you're in jail the public will think the mastermind is behind bars ad can do no harm".
"But you're the matermind and you can do harm"
"Believe me I will cause harm. I stick to a saying Tobias told me once"
"Tobias?"
"Yes, it goes somehing like "Hurt people, hurt people", I just love it"
