shinning briskly through the night
erie dreams and thoughts take flight
of how such things could tell a tale
without a gust of wind nor gale
I do not know or dare to speak
of answers i wish not to seek
for mind's eye twist and blind to see
the things that ought the truth to be
what false face masks the answer true
ideas born to misconstrue
thought drummed up without a sound
my hands are tied, my feet are bound
screams within crave forth the light
are swallowed up in darkness, night
for if the tongue comes forth to see
a friend of mine I lose in thee
a sense of trust in me is lost
though putrid silence comes at cost
for the truth I strive to hide
hurts in one which I confide
the path before me, lies pretty slim
the choice I make is.....keep it in
for if it's meant to come about
the seeker
will in time
find out.
