These are your instructions
When you tell them about me, tell them the whole truth.
When you stand up there in your suit.
When you hold onto the pride that comes before the tears,
Just remember this one thing; don't leave any of it out.

Tell them I was wreckless; tell them I was free.
That all I ever wanted was to be wanted for being me.
That I loved until it shattered me and then I loved with what was left;
Because there's nothing else to do with life before you best ole death.

Remind them of my kindness if you're really wanting to,
But laughing in remembrance is a better thing to do.
Because I'm playing cards against humanity with the reaper as we speak,
Waiting for you to get here so we can have another drink.
